Utilized LINX in LabView to connect to Arduino board and control alternating red LED and NIR LED lights.
Objective was to convert the optical heart rate monitor into a pulse oximeter in order to measure the amount of oxygen in blood.
Utilized the Beer-Lambert Law to modify the heart rate monitor code to detect SpO2.
Autocorrelated wavelengths of both LED lights were measured and compared to obtain the difference between the maximum and minimum voltages to detect oxygen.
